19 weeks (OSUT- one station unit training)

What was his training like? Normal schedule? Did he train on weekends? Late at night? Classroom or field based?

Much like basic training.  Limited phone privilege, passes most weekends.  Both classroom and field based.
 

Did you get to see him during AIT?

Yes when he had weekend passes I would drive up to see him and I got to see him right before graduation as well.
 

How often were you able to communicate with him? By phone? Email?

Most weekends and evenings
 

Describe the graduation ceremony.

Simple. Each platoon came up on the stage to cadence and one by one stated their name and then awards were issued.
