How long was his AIT?
20 weeks 5 days

What was his training like? Normal schedule? Did he train on weekends? Late at night? Classroom or field based? Normal schedule during the daytime, no weekends, he did classroom and shop working on engines

Did you get to see him during AIT?
Yes, we drove out to VA once and he drove home for Thanksgiving and Exodus

How often were you able to communicate with him? By phone? Email?
We talked everyday by phone and we sent e-mails. The only time we didn't get to talk was when he was in the field, FTX, training for a week.

Describe the graduation ceremony. Won't be attending since he is prior service he doesn't feel it is that big of a deal for us to travel the 13 hours.

Any other tips or information? Patience, understanding and that with prior service they do get to do more than the newer people. With him being prior service he got to have his POV out there also.
